Lauren Clark won the Children's Literature Association's 2022 Carol Gay Award, which is a national undergraduate writing award given annually, for work she did in the Daniel Kraus Papers in the Horror Studies Collection Archive at the University of Pittsburgh Hillman Library. The essay is called “Welcome to Mr. Kraus’s Neighborhood: Understanding Elements of Horror as Subversive Tools For Children in the Daniel Kraus Archive.” Many congratulations to Lauren!
